Empowa Investments was established in 2002 to harness investment opportunities in South Africa. One hundred percent black-owned, it is wholly committed to uplifting previously disadvantaged individuals and communities.

Prior to its founding, the company’s three directors, Caesar Molebatsi, Abner Mariri and Molefi Madisakwane owned and ran a consulting company, Empowa Consulting.

During that time they successfully anticipated the growth in products for rail support and infrastructural development and this led to the establishment of Empowa Investments, the vehicle through which they are now active participants in this business sphere.
