Moreover, it has formed strategic partnerships with leading rail and construction-based organisations, giving it a cutting edge in related technology and service delivery.

Caesar Molebatsi
The chairperson of Empowa Investments, Caesar was raised in Soweto and North West Province. He is familiar to many South Africans for his work on SABC TV’s, ‘In Search for Common Ground’ and ‘Two Way’, and for the radio programme, ‘PM Live’ (SAfm).

He has held numerous local, national and international leadership positions since completing his post-graduate studies in the USA, and his lectures on the management of diversity, leadership development and the new South Africa are much sought after, both locally and abroad.

Caesar specialises in communications, facilitation, mediation, training and development, and conference speaking. In addition to contributing to many publications internationally, he is author of ‘Flame for Justice’ (Lions Publishing, London).

Abner MaririAbner Mariri
Abner specialises in transformation, teamwork, productivity, empowerment, leadership and building self-esteem. An educationalist, ex Hollywood performer, peace-maker, and now management consultant and dynamic speaker, Abner is responsible for Empowa’s investment opportunities.

Born and raised in Kwa-Thema on the East Rand, Gauteng, he left for the United States in 1983 where he obtained a degree in science and economics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He worked in the US for a further seven years, training and speaking across the country.

Molefi Madisakwane
Molefi MadisakwaneIn addition to sitting on the boards in which Empowa Investments holds an interest, Molefi is currently deployed as a marketing executive at INFRASET Railway Products, a division of Aveng Manufacturing.

He has a B Admin degree and a post -graduate diploma in management, his speciality being human resources. He also holds Programme in Business Leadership and Masters in Business Leadership qualifications.

He began his career in 1991 at Old Mutual before moving to the Standard Bank. He was then appointed by KPMG as a transformation manager and later moved into a consulting position. Thereafter he joined KMMT as managing consultant of its organisational development unit.

In 2002 Molefi established his own company MKM Consulting before joining the Empowa Group to head its consulting division. He is well versed in organisation development, transformation, change management, business process improvement and strategy development, and acted as a consultant to several leading financial and public institutions on these subjects.
